UPEACE Centre The Hague, in collaboration with the UPEACE Summer Peace Institute in Costa Rica and the Global Compact Network Netherlands, offers a new learning programme on understanding the nexus between business and peace in order to guide businesses to contribute to SDG16.
The programme brings together professionals from the public, private and civil sectors that are inquiring on, if and how businesses can contribute to the SDGs and in particular the SDG16.
Through lectures and interactive seminars, participants are exposed to the complexity of linking peace and conflict disciplines (conflict and stakeholders’ management with conflict mediation and negotiation) with business studies, in particular their role and responsibility in society from a CSR perspective and governmental policy orientation. Renowned guest lectures and speakers in the above mentioned disciplines will be sharing their knowledge in an intense and interactive programme.
