How to apply for an MA at the University for Peace and required documentation

Check which documents you need to prepare beforehand and have them ready to upload when you file your application on the website’s admission page.

If you are a student from Europe, get in touch with UPeace Centre the Hague. Write to us at info@upeace.nl before you start your online application as we can help you secure a 30 percent waiver on the tuition fee by providing an introduction and recommendation letter. This waiver applies to both in person and online courses.

You may qualify for our scholarship if you are a Dutch national under 27 years old. Be sure to review the terms and conditions on the website to determine whether you are eligible to apply.

Once you have been admitted to the University in Costa Rica, the University’s Students services will reach out regarding visa requirements and housing options.

Cost of living is estimated at about 900 – 1000 USD per month.
Documents to obtain a visa to study in Costa Rica need to be translated into Spanish by a certified translator. It may take between 6 to 8 weeks to obtain your visa.
