Summary of the Privacy statement of Stichting Alliance for the University for Peace / UPEACE Centre The Hague, based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Stichting Alliance for the University for Peace / UPEACE Centre The Hague (henceforth: UPEACE The Hague) aims to support the activities of the University for Peace, headquartered in Costa Rica. Furthermore, UPEACE The Hague stimulates partnerships between the University for Peace and universities and other institutes in The Netherlands and Europe.
In view of this aim, processing of personal data is of great importance. At the same time, UPEACE The Hague realizes the importance of protecting these personal data.
UPEACE The Hague processes personal data of natural persons who support its aims, such as:
- natural persons working at universities and NGOs,
- former members of the Board,
- former colleagues,
- volunteers,
- benefactors, and
- persons who wish to receive information and news from UPEACE The Hague.
Every natural person whose data are processed by UPEACE The Hague has the right of access to his/her data, the right of rectification, and the right to object.
